Nigh 9,500 square meters or 102,000 square feet of Neo-Byzantine mosaics are finished inside St Sava's, Belgrade, Serbia. The full planned surface expanse to be covered with mosaics is 12,500-13,000 square meters. Works have started back in 2016, and hopefully they will finish in 2021, making it the largest mosaic composition in history.

Guápulo Church (1649 -1716)

Which has been a site of pilgrimage from Quito for many centuries, is situated on a small plateau among the range of hills that separates Quito from the Tumbaco valley. Information technology is surrounded by deep gorges, and stands beside the road taken by Pizarro and Orellana expedition that was to discover the Amazon (1541).

It was a hermitage at get-go. Bishop Luis Solís built a church building there in 1596, in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The present building was begun fifty years later, in 1649, under Brother Antonio Rodríguez. The church is large and imposing, with a single nave in the form of a latin cantankerous, 190 feet past xc, and covered past a great key dome. The facade is of a unproblematic neo-classical style, with a two-towered belfry. The nave is almost devoid of ornament, every bit a result of successive fires in the by, with the exception of a geometrical blueprint reminiscent of mudéjar art and the frieze which runs along the walls.
